Kelly Wearstler Debuts Wallcoverings and Trimmings Collection with Groundworks

Lee Jofa
SFDC Galleria, #490

Famed interior designer and tastemaker Kelly Wearstler has partnered with Groundworks to launch her first collection of wallcoverings and her second collection of trimmings. Celebrated for her lavishly chic design aesthetic and unexpected use of color and texture, these new collections build upon Wearstler’s successful relationship with Groundworks, a brand distributed by industry leader Lee Jofa, and converse beautifully with her elegant fabrics and existing trimmings.

With a meticulous attention to detail and a vintage, timeless quality, the seven-pattern wallpaper collection and eight-pattern trimmings collection boast dramatic designs, which are rendered using artful, hand-printed techniques in sophisticated color pairings and graphic patterns. Wearstler calls upon different environmental elements, both natural and urban – including street art, brushstrokes, gradient coloring, water and wood – which have been interpreted in a modern and imaginative way.

The wallpaper collection features rich gold, silver and copper mixed-metallic finishes, a Wearstler signature. For the trimmings collection, Wearstler continues to build on her signature color combinations, seen throughout her interior design and fashion projects, bold black & white, periwinkle blue, pistachio green, smokey aubergine and coral, citrine yellow, warm charcoal grey and ivory.

Le Jardin Chinois

Brunschwig & Fils
Lee Jofa Inc.
SFDC Galleria #490

brunschwig_sh-9295

The latest fabric collection from Brunschwig & Fils, Le Jardin Chinois, celebrates the fantasy and timelessness of chinoiserie.

The collection is a reflection of the West’s artistic fascination with the lifestyles, imagery, crafts and colors of this faraway land. The Brunschwig & Fils archive provided some of the designs that have been included in the numerous prints, weaves and embroideries found in the collection.

“The collection represents a popular theme with our customers because it’s a wonderful vehicle for brilliant color and fanciful design,” said David Toback, design director for Brunschwig & Fils. “The treasures of trade which fueled the birth of chinoiserie style hundreds of years ago are still associated with luxury in interior decoration today.”

Lee Jofa Introduces Workroom Upholstered Furniture and Malika Fabric Collection

Lee Jofa, Inc
SFDC Galleria #490

Lee Jofa Furniture debuts Workroom, a custom upholstered furniture program that provides interior designers and their clients bench made sofas and chairs tailored specifically to their needs. Classically styled to perfection and personalized to the inch, all Workroom upholstery is created within a four-week lead time.

Ordering furniture through the Workroom program can be done by following these simple steps: Choose the width and depth of each piece or customize it by the inch. Secondly, specify one of the many decorative arm, skirt or leg styles and cushion configurations. Finally, select the fabric, trimmings and finishes to complete the bespoke furniture piece.

Lee Jofa’s latest fabric collection, Malika, features ethnic inspired patterns from exotic locales such as Turkey, Uzbekistan and Northern Africa. The word Malika, which translates to Queen, captures the spirit of the ikats, rug patterns and unique motifs that the Lee Jofa Design Studio has fashioned into printed, woven and embroidered fabrics. Sourced from the finest fabric mills around the world, the collection’s exclusive fabrics are innovative and exude a casual richness in color and texture.

Groundworks Introduces New Collection from Kelly Wearstler

::NEW PICKS::

Lee Jofa, Inc
SFDC Galleria #490

Los  Angeles interior designer and tastemaker Kelly Wearstler has introduced a new collection of vibrant and inspiring fabrics through Groundworks. In this second collaboration, Wearstler brings together her love for natural materials, graphic patterns and unique colors.

The fabrics are a curated mix of prints, wovens and embroideries that can transform an interior and inspire a mood. The collection features organic and textural designs that are elegant and dramatic, including a velvet tie dye design, raw silks in a range of Kelly’s favorite hues, and a delicate print based on the natural veining found in marble.

The line also features the bold graphic patterns that have become Kelly Wearstler signatures – a graphic diagonal stripe interpreted in sumptuous velvet, an abstracted animal print with an ikat influence, and a striking design of hand painted brushstrokes that crisscross dynamically across a linen ground cloth.

All are available in an inspiring color range that Kelly uses throughout her interior design and fashion projects – black and white, periwinkle blues, pistachio greens, smokey aubergines and corals, citrine yellow and warm charcoal greys and ivory.
