Famed interior designer and tastemaker Kelly Wearstler has partnered with Groundworks to launch her first collection of wallcoverings and her second collection of trimmings. Celebrated for her lavishly chic design aesthetic and unexpected use of color and texture, these new collections build upon Wearstler’s successful relationship with Groundworks, a brand distributed by industry leader Lee Jofa, and converse beautifully with her elegant fabrics and existing trimmings.
With a meticulous attention to detail and a vintage, timeless quality, the seven-pattern wallpaper collection and eight-pattern trimmings collection boast dramatic designs, which are rendered using artful, hand-printed techniques in sophisticated color pairings and graphic patterns. Wearstler calls upon different environmental elements, both natural and urban – including street art, brushstrokes, gradient coloring, water and wood – which have been interpreted in a modern and imaginative way.
The wallpaper collection features rich gold, silver and copper mixed-metallic finishes, a Wearstler signature. For the trimmings collection, Wearstler continues to build on her signature color combinations, seen throughout her interior design and fashion projects, bold black & white, periwinkle blue, pistachio green, smokey aubergine and coral, citrine yellow, warm charcoal grey and ivory.
